First pumpkin from our garden! Elliot could not wait for it to turn orange before picking and carving it. This is our first vegetable… ever!

Snow cones on the porch!
First time being in a tent. I think the first time he’s ever seen a tent. We set it up in the backyard.
Playing at the Indigo Hill pool with Daddy… Scooby Doo and daddy is shaggy
Buying a clip-on cat tail at a garage sale down the street was a serious highlight. Our goal is to confuse Grendel!
Passed out at Shabbat services… in the main room!
Elitch Gardens, the last amusement park and fair of the summer. He was so in love with the carousel (he calls it “caramel”) that we went on it 5 times. Then spent HOURS in the wave pool, where Elliot was unlike the other children: he was quiet and relaxed on an inner tube. The last hour or so we spent in the air ball shooting gun playground. We only went to three activities because he loved each of them so much! So we will have to go again to explore the rest of the park another time. I did not pressure him to do other rides; he really loved these three enough for a lifetime of fun. Unfortunately, I don’t have photos of him in the wave pool because we were in bathing suits, and I didn’t want to ruin my phone/camera.

Last day in The Purple Room. Elliot shows me “sweaty”, the fish he named. Monday he goes to the Blue Room, his last year of preschool!
Elliot and Olivia in the gym at Garden Preschool, last day of camp 2022. Olivia is Elliot’s friend since he was a little baby. He told her that “bicoyotes (his way of saying coyotes) are afraid of my dad.” Elliot has a particular fear of coyotes because I always tell him we must get Grendel indoors before night, otherwise the coyotes may get her. He always asks if they will get him. I tell him, “no, because you are with me. I will protect you, Elliot, and they are afraid of grown ups.”
